Editorial standards
The principles guiding how Ownership House reports, edits, publishes, labels, and corrects its work.
Accuracy before speed
We verify material facts, identify sources clearly, and distinguish reporting from analysis and opinion.
Human-centered reporting
We cover people and communities with context, dignity, specificity, and care. We do not reduce people to trends or extract stories without regard for impact.
Independence
Advertisers, sponsors, donors, and partners do not determine editorial conclusions. Paid or sponsored material is labeled prominently.
Transparency
We disclose material conflicts, describe significant methods when useful, credit original work, and link to primary sources whenever practical.
Corrections
When we make a meaningful factual error, we correct it promptly and append a clear note explaining the change.
